Final draft- Minus Twenty

Image
Here lies one of my most time invested projects in my high school career. A magazine that targets the audience of middle aged women that discusses fashion, makeup, skincare, and health. The reason for this concept is because all the magazines I see about beauty and health is always targeted for the younger audience, i never see any for older women. So here, I introduce my magazine called "Minus Twenty", where middle aged women can feel young again.

Post Production

Now that i have received feedback from my peers, it was time for me to change my magazine based of the suggestions i got. There wasn't much on my end where the only thing i was asked to adjust where the coloring of some words and edits. Some of my phrases where set in front of a dark background and the words were black so i changed it to white. On my content page, there was a hot pink color theme when the rest of my magazine portrayed a red, black, and white theme. Therefore, i changed the color theme to red to match the rest of my magazine. Other than those minor adjustments, I did not feel like I had to make any more changes and everything looked perfect to submit to Cambridge.

Peer Review

I presented my magazine in front of my peers and had a few comments on what they loved and what they thought I  should change. All my pages but my content page was in black and red, bold letters while the content page was a girly pink. Another suggestion was to change the color of my font that was black, and the background was the darkest part of the car, therefore making it difficult to see the words. I will change the color to white to make it stand out. one of the major problems that my peers pointed out was my partner and I had different concepts for the same magazine which caused my audience to feel like we were two different magazines. My magazine was more of a bling approach while my  partner’s  was a calming yoga theme. I personally think those concepts do relate to our content as each...

They said I needed to fix some small things such as spelling  mishaps and changing the color for some things  to   make i t  appear interesting or   to pop out. Overall, they said my magazine looks perfect and everything is w here it needs to be. I personally think there might be too much white space, but I  don’t know how to fix it since I have no room to add more details or pictures. Overall, it looks like a real magazine and I feel proud to accomplis...
