To Team or Not To Team

I have decided to work on my portfolio for AICE Media Studies with a partner this year.  When I was working with a friend on the “Social Media Peer Account” activity, I found that I liked having the company of someone and viewing their social media  account led me to find much more about them and building a  a  trust bond.  In the article, “ Team building and group dynamics: creating and fostering a culture of teamwork r equires trust, collaboration, and accountability”, it was proven that  using “The Five Behaviors... helped lay the foundation to further development...”. “The  Five Behaviors”, is a team building method that helps a team build  trust in each other by allowing them to get to know each other before working on any of the projects. Decision Day

My  initial  impression of  InDesign  and Premier pro after watching tutorials of the programs was all over the place.  I can’t lie, my impressions were negative. Confusion ran through my mind while I was trying to follow the tutorial and mess around with the b uttons, but I couldn’t catch up.  There were so many buttons and functions that I didn’t know how to use. I just need to explore the functions more further.  When creating my project, I will follow “The Four C’s of critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity ”, to ensure  a story understood by my audience (Our place in the Universe: The Importance of Story and St...

Magazine Cover Review

My initial impression for these printed magazines were that I could tell the audience  each magazine was trying to attract.  For  example,  “Vogue”, this magazine is  unique  by their high fashion and  high-end  brands. Their audience is towards affluent women as their advertising brands include  Gucci, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, etc.  Depending on the magazine,  I noticed how there would be certain ads that would be attracting to the specific audience.  Magazines would also try to lure an audience by the type of font of color they would use for the lettering. A  reoccurring  pattern  I've  seen was a black, red, and white theme for the articles as it stands out to readers. One speci fic topic  I'm  most interested in that magazines do is the way models dress according to the theme of the magazine.   A magazine that attracts rich m...
